The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Mr. Stefan Delay, Chairman of the Board of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the eve of the national holiday of France and the Day of European Revolutions – July 14, concluded a memorandum of cooperation. During the official ceremony of signing the agreement, the two discussed joint initiatives, expressing readiness for future fruitful cooperation between the two institutions.
The rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov presented the goals set by UNSS, emphasized the strong relationship with business, the agreements concluded with various large companies such as Kaufland, Vivacom, Coca Cola, etc. He emphasized that “we have concluded numerous memoranda of cooperation with leading companies and employer organizations, among them the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, with KRIB.” He emphasized the serious attention paid to digitalization and added that UNSS is also a member of the National Center of Competence within the framework of EuroHPC JU, phase 2. The EuroCC2 project is aimed at developing in the most effective way a network of national centers of competence within all European countries in the field of technologies for high-performance computing HPC+ and artificial intelligence. The ambitious goal at the European level is to build a capacity of technologies and competences to be provided as up-to-date services to help business, public administration and academia.
