http://eurocc-bulgaria.bg/
The EuroCC project aims to establish a network of European National Competence Centers /NCCs/ in the field of High Performance Computing /HPC/, High Performance Data Analysis /HPDA/ and Artificial Intelligence /AI/ which coordinates activities in the relevant areas at the national level and serves as a contact point for customers from the industry, science and the general public.
The EuroCC project is 50 percent funded by the EU Science and Innovation Programme Horizon 2020 (through the European High Performance Computing Enterprise – EuroHPC) and 50 percent by national funding programmes of the partner countries.
NCC Bulgaria objectives are:
- Creating a Roadmap for successful work in the field of high-performance calculations, big data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
- Analyzing the existing competencies in Bulgaria in the three areas – HPC, HPDA, AI (high-performance calculations, big data analysis, and artificial intelligence), clarifying existing gaps and shortcomings, and developing measures for overcoming them.
- Facilitating the use of HPC/HPDA/AI applications by different users, including from academia, industry and public administration.
- Promoting HPC, HPDA, AI throughout society with a focus on industry and public sector.
