Awareness is the knowledge that something exists or an understanding of a situation based on information or experience. Awareness is the ability to know and perceive given processes and phenomena, and to have information applicable to a particular range of behavioral actions.
HPC/HPDA/AI awareness is related to the following activities:
- Understanding HPC/HPDA/AI technologies;
- Understanding the basic principles of HPC/HPDA/AI computer systems;
- Considering potential opportunities for applying HPC/HPDA/AI computer systems to the business processes of a specific organization;
- Exploring and identifying potential business processes that could be performed in parallel in a given organization (among existing business processes that are performed in sequence);
- Considering best practices – global and national companies, working in the same field, in which HPC/HPDA/AI computer systems are used for simulation and modeling of business processes, in order to identify opportunities for potential implementation in the business organization;
- Financial considerations for the use of HPC computer systems – in cloud environments, in own data center, in another data center, in a hosted environment;
- Financial considerations for the use of HPDA computer systems- in cloud environments, in-house datacenter, in another data center, in a hosted environment.
The Competency Center may offer workshops and/or research, based on specific contractual relationships, for one or more of the proposed activities.
