November 22, 2024 | As part of the EuroCC2 project, UNWE welcomed representatives from Morocco and Egypt to explore opportunities for collaboration in digitalization and high-performance data analytics. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Zidane Lamgadhri from Ibn Tofail University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Boutalline, and Prof. Dr. Imane El Amri from Université Abdelmalek Essaadi, Morocco, alongside Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Aly Mehanna and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Hassan Shaaban Mansour from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, Egypt. They engaged in discussions with students and EuroCC Bulgaria team members, including Prof. Dr. Valentin Kisimov, Prof. Dr. Lyuben Boyanov, and Assistant Dr. Ivona Velkova.
The visit featured a session at the Research Centre of Competence on Digitalization of the Economy in a Big Data Environment, where Prof. Dr. Valentin Kisimov presented the center’s infrastructure. The discussions highlighted how its technical capabilities support businesses, especially SMEs, through Cloud-based solutions and Big Data processing.
