28 November 2025 | BDA1 Theoretical principles of big data analysis and project management for HPC software development. The goal of the training is to familiarize participants with the theoretical foundations of algorithms and their role in Big Data Analytics. The main categories of algorithms in big data analysis are presented in detail. Within the framework of the training, participants become familiar with algorithms in machine learning and artificial intelligence and develop applied solutions. A practical focus is also provided on teaching participants how to manage software projects for high-performance computing (HPC) – an environment in which the requirements for performance, scalability, reliability and cost change the “classical” rules of project management. The format includes short theoretical blocks and work on applied cases. Thus, the goal is achieved, for participants to build skills in software project management, software engineering, business context in the specifics of HPC development: parallelization, performance, profiling, cluster resource management, dependencies and compilation, validity of results.
